During 2008 and thusfar in 2009, retail dealers or agents selling new or used autos, RVs, marine vessels, motorcycles, homes and mortgages have experienced the worst sales records in their histories. Many dealers have gone out of business, lost their franchises or needed to lay off many of their employees. Today, dealers are beginning to see sales rise slowly and consumers are starting to become interested in buying new or used product. These experiences are fairly consistent in most states. The need for innovation and creativity is here. Dealers need to understand that consumers are different in many situations. They are wary and expect to be treated fairly economically. Merchant Growth Solutions has selected five initial products and services to make available to dealerships for their use in providing innovation and creativity in the sales process.
 
Market Strategy
 
Merchant Growth Solutions marketing strategy will be to emphasize the value of the information we have to share and the education we can provide. Our consulting, analysis and advice will be provided by a staff with over 20 years of experience in every aspect of the vehicle buying and financing process. Our market expertise will also allow us to show dealers of every size and type how to take advantage of the unique and timely products we provide.
 
The unique economic times and slowness of retail sales we are in today allows Merchant Growth Solutions to enter the retail market at it's ebb. We are focused on two fronts. One is to acquire creative products and services in order to provide consumer satisfaction and the other is to provide dealers with profit opportunities to supplement their own sales.

Products and Services
 
Smart Payment Plan (SPP) will be offered to each retail sale, as well as providing a method for reaching out to existing customers, providing customers with the ability to pay loans off quicker, build equity faster and save on interest charges. SPP, through their partnership with Wells Fargo, will ACH debit, every 14 days, from the customers checking account to be delivered electronically to the lender. SPP provides significant improvements in PVR, by up to 20% or more, while increasing dealership profit by $150 per customer enrollment and allowing upsell opportunities without changes in payments or loan terms. This product is relatively new in the retail market and enhances consumer’s and dealer’s satisfaction.
 
Strategic Marketing (SMI) is the highest rated automobile direct mailing company in the U.S. for four years running. Merchant Growth Solutions will market mail campaigns to dealers in 5,000; 7,500; 10,000 or more increments. Identity Sword (IS) is an identity theft prevention product marketed to dealers that provides free Red Flag compliance written prevention policies and training. Identity Sword will be offered to consumers at terms from 12  to 84 months. Identity theft is rampant and most customers are aware of the need.
 
Signet Financial Group (SFG) offers a Service Contract Refund Program that allows dealerships to provide a 100% purchase price refund on their existing vehicle service contract. This is Signet’s cornerstone product and it has had overwhelming support from agents, dealers, consumers and vehicle service contract company administrators.
